In 1908, the Hanseatic trading house TER HELL & CO. GMBH was founded as a specialist provider of high-quality waxes for different industries. Since then, the Hamburg based company has developed a stellar reputation as supplier of speciality chemicals and ingredients used in industries like adhesives, cosmetics, feed, food, paint and coatings, plastics, rubber and several others. After a steady growth of the company, it was decided to separate food from non-food business. In January 2016, the existing Food & Feed section was transferred entirely to a new subsidiary called TER INGREDIENTS GMBH & CO. KG.

One year later, in 2017, the same was done in Spain, where the Food & Feed department of TER AS Productos S.L. became a new company in the group, a daughter of TER INGREDIENTS GMBH & CO. KG called TER INGREDIENTS S.L. One of the reasons of this move is the further development of the holding structure of the TER GROUP, enabling us to provide even more customized and better services to our customers and their specific industries requirements.
